I applied for a Visa Card with American Eagle and approved for only $100. I am not so happy.

That's really ridiculous.  Did you try calling them and telling them that the card will be maxed out with a pair of jeans and that you can not use it because you don't want a card showing up with that high utilization on your credit report? That's what I would do.

I think that is what I will do. The card if offered through GE Money Bank or something like that.

Yes, that is a GEMB card. They approved me for a paypal buyer credit about 5 months ago for $300 and refused to give me a credit increase
