After I use my bonus miles, I don't see this card being very useful. Does AMEX do product changes after a certain amount of time? I'm interested in the AMEX BCP.

Yes they will do a PC after 13 statements cut. The AF will post but it will be credited before you have to pay.
Awesome, thanks!

PC from Delta to BCP? I don't think that's possible.
There are reports of PC from Delta to Hilton HHonors no AF card, but not any others I'm aware of. The co-branded AMEX cards seem to be limited in their PC possibilities.
One also loses out on the once-per-lifetime BCP sign up bonus if a PC is done to the card.
I had the Delta Amex and when the AF came I asked about PC to a nonfee product, the only option they gave me was Hilton Honors, I asked about other products and the rep said Hilton Honors was only option. I later moved the CL from the Hilton card over to my ED card after a few months because the Hilton card was of no use to me.

I think NRB is right. Sorry to get your hopes up. I started thinking they don't PC from Delta to something like BCE after I posted. Some people do get a retention offer after the first year though.
For myself, I love my Delta Gold card. Free first checked bag, and early boarding alone are worth the $95 AF to me, even though I flew only once in 2014 and 3 times in 2015.

I guess it isn't a terrible card. I have only been flying twice a year at this point though to see family.

That's enough. Consider: on those two trips, if you checked a bag, you would have paid $25 per bag on the outbound, and then on the return of each flight. You may not have seen the bag fee if you had the Delta card active and only one checked bag, because they know you by your SkyMiles number and don't charge you for that first bag. For your two round trips, that's $100 in bag fees you saved.
It doesn't take much to make the Delta Gold card virtually AF-free.
My AmEx BCE was PC'd from a Delta Gold, so I can definitely attest to it being possible. I'm not too sure of the BCP, however. I simply didn't feel the Delta Gold was worth the AF after the first year, and the CSR completed the change without any trouble. I kept the same interest rate and opening date.
I have seen recent posts of individuals experiencing difficulties PC'ing the Delta Gold, so I'm not sure if restrictions were implemented recently or if the CSRs just aren't informed.
