Yes it is really just keeping all the risk activity in one place and manageable if something does happen. Of course you know I am also going to give amex a plug here. I have had four or five small theft issues and amex has handled it with such clarity . No iffiness on their part; if it was on their card they take responsibility. I think like with everything else with them, the longer you are with them and have no problems , the harder they work for you because you are not a "problem" customer. I say that because I don't think amex likes people who are always having issues. A little like crying wolf.
