Re: American Express Platinum Upgrade?

I wasn't aware that the Plat ever waives AF.

All I have ever seen is it billed the first statement

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Re: American Express Platinum Upgrade?

I didn't get it waived but I did get some MR points thrown my way! I know my father got his waived last year. But he had had the play for awhile now so they probably have him some flex with him. Considering I've only have had amex for 2 years I don't have that much pill with them! Haha

Yes, I just logged into my account, and the old Pre-approval for the PRG has been replaced by the 50K MR preapproval for the Plat.  I guess the fact that I spent $0 this month and $25 the last makes me a very attractive customer!

BTW, 50K MR for $5K spend
