American Express Platinum charge card cancelled...?

Honestly I have no clue what happened. I applied for a platinum Amex card two years later and was approved again... I don't use it anymore but that's that. They didn't instantly close it this time. My monthly revolving was about 8k. After I joined a company and stopped consulting I stopped the card.

Maybe it was your revolving 8K? So what cards do you use now days?

Just a discover card. I spent way too much, learned the hard way by going 40k into the hole. I'm at about 9k left now and glad I didn't take the bankruptcy route.

Yes, high revolving can easily result in bank's closing your credit card account. In addition since they're private, they have the right to not give u a reason. Just like I can tell anyone to get off my property without a reason (weird example but u get the point). But good for you, 31K off is great. I was once 11K in the hole and learned the hard way as well. Keep up the good work and it will always pay off.
