American Express Platinum

After a couple of months of agonizing over whether to apply or not, and soliciting thoughts and advice (see link)

http://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Credit-Cards/Really-want-the-Gold-AMEX-Do-I-have-a-shot-yet/td-p/131...

I finally pulled the trigger and applied by phone.

I was shocked and ecstatic to hear "Welcome to American Express".

INSTANT APPROVAL!! I DID IT!!  WHOO HOO!!

Thanks to all who gave me advice and encouragement ... I am now thinking I need a comparable Visa or MC to go along with it .... thoughts?  Ideas?
