A few wekks ago I opened an American Express Everyday card, a week or so later I apped for a Macys card and that is showing up, but my Amex still isn't on creditkarma.

Amex takes 2-3 months to report a new card. So you have some waiting to do-

Yep, I have 3 Amex cards and they've always been very slow to report. Whereas the three Citi Cards I have had been lightning fast to report. It all depends on the CCC. And generally speaking, Co-branded cards (like Macy's) are a different animal from ones issued directly by the lender.
