I want to check with the experts on what my chances are for another 3x CLI from Amex. I realize that the 3x CLI is not guaranteed but here goes my situation. All the cards in my siggy, with exception of Barclays and Michael Tire, were gotten after July 2013. Barclays and Michael Tire were received in March 2013. I had two secured cards, now closed, @ $5,000 each which were PIF from March 2012-November/December 2013. In fact, all accounts have been PIF. I make $63,000 a year. My utilization has always been 2-5%. Currently at 2%. I have 9 inquiries on Experian of which 6 are from Amex. I'm looking at my BCE to request 3x CLI in March 2014. My current Experian FAKO is 717. When I received my PRG in July 2013 (received after BCE card which was 1st Amex) I had spending ability of $10,000. I checked my spending ability today (random number) and I was approved to spend $16,000. From July 2013 through December 2013, I've run $29,000 through my PRG. My AAoA is 3.2 years. I have three baddies (all settled) on Experian which are 5.3 years old. These accounts are known to Amex. The BCE currently has a limit of $6,600. I'm not looking to go out on a buying frenzy or anything, just want the available credit. Opinions are welcomed. Thank you.

Just apply for a 3x increase online, and they will counter if necessary.
All the cards in my signature, plus one I already closed, were obtained in 2013. I has a secured card for all of 2012 also now closed. I had $2000, 3x at 2 months, and 3x at 6 more months brought my BCE to $18,000. My income is $60,000.
But since all you have to do is request it online, you might as well just go for it.
When did you get the other Blue, Hilton, and Mercedes Amex in relation to this Blue with $600 CL?
@Themanwhocan,

not sure so I would also say just go for it the system counters or says no but it's still sp.... just finally got a small bump on my partners costco amex after over a year out of being FR'd and I had been requesting practically monthly
@Creditaddict,
I am going to go for it in March. I think I have a good (albeit short) relationship with Amex. I like the fact that my PRG started out with $10k purchasing power and I can now spend at least $16k. I guess I'm thinking if I was the decision maker looking at my income, siggy and credit report, I wouldn't increase the credit line to $19,800. But I am definitely going to go for it. If I get it, this would be signficant for my siggy.
@Creditaddict,
I assume you have some military affiliation? If so, have you considered USAA?
@wHiTeSoL,
Thanks for information. I agree that the PRG isn't a good indicator. I only mentioned that because I do believe that it is factored into Amex's internal risk score, so I am purely speculating here that my internal risk score is at least decent. The SPG was cancelled in favor of the Mercedes Benz card so I don't think that would necessarily be a factor. I would totally be ok with a 5 digit Amex card even at 10k and not the 19,800. We'll see what happens. I'm still a month and a half away. Amex has racked up some good merchant fees from me albeit on the PRG. My other Amex cards sees usage but no where near the PRG.
