now you've got me wondering.  I don't think so.  I think it's the SL x 3 = new limit, so $1,000 x 3 = $3,000

When I opened up my BCE card my limit was only $2,000  and I requested $6,000 and was only approved for $4,000 so I received a 2x CLI.

I could be wrong, also I assumed it would be 3x plus the starting limit. I'm sure you guys are right. They don't add to the starting line, but like I stated still not complaining lol. Didn't think I would be approved since there have been a bunch of denials lately

They don't add to your starting limit.  3X a $1K limit will get you $3K not $4K
