I have read it is 61 days from activation, but I used the date of my inq(approval) and I was approved. I guess it's a ymmv thing. I would wait until 61 days after activation just to be safe.

I've read both here, but if I were you, I'd wait for the latter date just to be safe, because you can't request another CLI for 90 days I believe, if you're denied. (That's to the best of my recollection.)

With American Express "Revolver" Accounts, you ask for first CLI at 61 days and all future increases at 6 months.

You can call amex for the correct date, its 61 days from activation

Just for the record, mine was approved 61 days after date of approval.
