Amex AR on Experian

So I noticed on my EX report that Amex has been doing account reviews.  On 4/9 it shows Amex Account Review and on 3/20 it shows American Express 2.  I do have a corporate card of which I only use when I travel which the last time was in September.  I have had this card for 6 years and they don't report at all.  I did try for a new years eve approval but was declined due to bk.  My bk is officially over 6 years old and will fall off by next Mar 2014.

Sooooo is this a sign that they *may* be interested in me or am I delusional?

Re: Amex AR on Experian

I am not sure about AR before approvals, but when I got my Green last year, Amex SP me twice a month for 3 months straight. Since then, they have been more reasonable.

I also had a Corp Amex before I got my personal card, but I never noticed a SP before I was approved.

Hopefully, it's a good sign for you.

Did they backdate to your corp Amex?  I was also an AU on an Amex that I had for well over 10 years.  It went bad and I removed myself from the account but it still reports open and positive even though its been over a year since the account went to collections.  So I was hoping that if I ever got one that they would do a backdate, in the case of the AU it goes back to 1984!

Re: Amex AR on Experian

Yes, I got my Corp card in 2004. All of my personal cards are backdated to 2004.

My Corp Amex is still open. I am not sure how they treat a previously closed card.
