Hello all,
My DW just got approved for the PRG and added me as an AU. I opened my first Amex in 2012, will this new account show on my report with the CRBs as opened in 2012 or 2014? I've been searching through the forum and have found mixed answers so I thought I'd ask you guys.
It is your DWs account, and she opened it in 2014.
If it is her first amex, it will show as opened in 2014.

Ok, yeah she is an AU on my accounts but this is her first account with them. I just wasn't sure if they would see my membership date and report it back to 2012 for me and 2014 for her. Thanks!
When did you first add her as an AU to your accounts? That should set her MSD.
As far as your AU card on her account, that won't get backdated on your CRs.

2014. My MSD is 1998 but my wife just added me as an AU on her BCP and it reports as 2014.
sorry to hijack the forum but I was recently approved for an amex card a few weeks ago. I had 2 amex cards opened in 2003 and closed in 2005. When I got my card and logged in it says member since 2003. So when the card reports to the CRA's, it is going to have an open date of 8/2003?
I am really intrigued because was AAOA is low like 4 years on TU and 5 years on EX and EQ. The closed amex cards show up on EX and EQ but never did on TU. Will this give me a nice a bump on my TU AAOA?

Yes, 08/2003.
2014. ACM's no longer get backdated.
One last question, I was 18 when I opened the cards and got into credit card debt and just stopped using cards for a while and payed off bills. Amex was never late or burned but I had forgot I had the accounts. Therefore, on my cra it says closed at creditors request but in good standing. Does backdating still apply to that? I have read mixed things.

If online it says 2003, your accounts will be backdated automatically. It looks like you ended your relationship with Amex in good terms. So, everything should be fine.
