I only have one active American Express card and have had so for a while.  What gives? Wonder how much they are spending on getting a copy of this every month?

Many others have reported similar review trends.  It seems excessive, but Amex has been checking everyone quite a bit for some time now.

Ok, so this is weird too... I don't have a relationship with First USA but they pull my report every month? whats up with that?

*Correction - I just found this is the same as Chase who I do have a relationship with :-) whew....

AMEX is known to follow your every footstep. Each credit report pull usually costs about 35 cents... but for AMEX, I would assume anywhere between .15-20 cents. Pulling reports on customers cost them nothing really.

Par for the course as far as AMEX is concerned.  I'm a 29 year AMEX customer and they still soft me constantly on all three of my accounts.  That's the way their system is set up.  You can't change it so I wouldn't worry about it.
