I only have one active American Express card and have had so for a while.  What gives? Wonder how much they are spending on getting a copy of this every month?

Re: Amex Account Review Inq's - A little excessive?

Many others have reported similar review trends.  It seems excessive, but Amex has been checking everyone quite a bit for some time now.

What I don't get the review of an account 3-4 days within each other. It's so retarded.

Re: Amex Account Review Inq's - A little excessive?

AMEX is known to follow your every footstep. Each credit report pull usually costs about 35 cents... but for AMEX, I would assume anywhere between .15-20 cents. Pulling reports on customers cost them nothing really.

Just curious, Chopbrocoli...how do you know this?

(I always wondered what it cost the ccc to do this).

Re: Amex Account Review Inq's - A little excessive?

Par for the course as far as AMEX is concerned.  I'm a 29 year AMEX customer and they still soft me constantly on all three of my accounts.  That's the way their system is set up.  You can't change it so I wouldn't worry about it.
