Guys, I applied for the amex platinum a coue days ago. A little while ago they contacted me asking me to unfreeze my experian report. I was busy and said I'd call back tomorrow. It's my understanding if they hard pull a cardmember it's because you're gonna be approved, so is that the case ??? Granted when I filled out the app I was not logged onto the amex site but the rep I spoke with mentioned I had a zync so they know I'm a cardmember lol.
Right, that's why I think I'm approved, they simply want 2 mark the inquiry on my report
So I granted amex access to my experian report, and afterwards they said to finish my application they would need form 4506-t. I told them to cancel the app. No way I'm providing them that much access to sensitive info, a paystub should suffice. I'm good with my unicorn lol.
