Congrats thats gr8. Can't wait to join the amex family
Been successful here with the 61 days as well and this is a nice story to get my hopes up with the 6 month CLI haha
CONGRATS1!!!
this sounds good, my initial start is $5,500 So I guess I'll request $16,500 next =) it'll still be under my highest credit limit by 500 though

Originally had a $2000 starting limit.
Recieved a CLI after 61 days to $6,000.
Recently hit 6 months and tried for $18,000--they countered with $15,000 (accepted obviously).
Very happy with this kind of growth. Would be nice to have a lower APR (22%) but I don't carry a balance anyways. If only Chase would do CLIs like this
Congrats! I recieved the CLI at 61 days as well for my current limit of $6,000. My question is when does this 6 month period start? Is it 6 months after the CLI at 61 days, approximately 241 after initial activation OR is this 6 months after activation, only approximately 120 days from the CLI at 61 days? I hope my question isn't too confusing lol. That limit is great and I really would like to ask at the right time and hope I am successful. Thanks!!!
This was 6 months from my last CLI. So 6mo after my 61 day cli.

Wow!!!!! That's so awesome!!!! I have the same interest rate, but love my Amex BCE nontheless!! Lol :-). Seems like they really strive to be the highest limit in your wallet!!! I can't wait to try for that 3xcli, which would bring me to $10k+ :-)
Do you know your scores at the time of cli approval?
My most current scores are in my sig. I haven't seen my actual Fico's in quite a while. I'd love to know what my Experian Fico is.
And thanks everyone for the congrats
I still think the 61 day rule is the postmark day on the letter. The day the card was made/put in their system. This would explain why it's some random date between when you're approved and when you activated the card. Maybe the people who get 61 day CLI after approval date their card was made on that day...
