Amex BCE - Kroger not grocery any more?

I heard that Kroger is considered as wholesales instead of grocery store anymore, does anyone know about it?

My statement is not ready yet so I'm can't check whether it's true or not.

King Soopers (one of Kroger's  grocery names, mainly in the West) shows as groceries on my AMEX statements.   I'm in Colorado.

On another forum some people are claiming that they contacted Amex and Amex admitted their may be an error on some peoples December statement.  They then promise to give your bonus on the next statement.
