Amex BK friendly at all??

I had a bk7 about 6 years ago and DID NOT have an Amex card at the time, nor have I ever shorted them money. I have been AU on a clear card for 1-2years and still currently. I have read that they are not bk friendly, but is that only if you file on them? Would they give me my own green charge card?

So I have to wait til its 10yrs old and falls off to have any chance, regardless of score?

agree with CA again on both:

correct on amex and could have a shot with US Bank > 680.

For real?

DH and I have long history with USBank, and every time we go into the office, they remind us that they would like to offer us (DH, really) a card.  They send him pre-aprovals, but never me.  I was thinking it was because of the bk on my report.  They soft both of us on Equifax.  So, we've been waiting til that bk falls off of mine - would love it if we didn't have to wait.    Has anyone with a bk still reporting actually been accepted for the card?

I personally would love to dump BofA and get USBank on board.   *Sigh!*

Re: Amex BK friendly at all??

I have a joint UsBank with bk on report, it's my highest CL also.

I had gotten a secured card right after bk 8 years ago but when they wouldn't unsecure it after 12 months I closed it, I didn't know scores back than or there rules etc.
