Thanks for keeping your word... It looks like it has been backdated-
BUT...the reporting date is May 19, which is prior to the stated March 21 cut-off. Correct?
So this really doesn't show anything different than what everyone already knew. Or am I missing something?
May is after March

I knowwwww....LOL
Somehow in my head I was thinking of those as the same month, even though I clearly wrote May and March...good grief. Gettin' old sucks!
@Anonymous wrote:I still need to see more . , like date of approval and first reporting. All that shows is a card that's being reported now.
The reality is that nothing posted will be enough, so basically there is no way of knowing. Just have to decide which is more probable:
1) OP is being misleading for whatever reason
2) Internal controls at Amex weren't in place enough to prevent someone being able to do a backdate against policy.
Not sure why most here seem to think 2) is so unlikely given the general opinion of CSRs!
But certainly if you don't want to risk a non-backdated Amex, don't apply, because even if this case is true, it doesn't seem to general policy.
My PRG just hit my reports today and it reports as 4/03/2015. So no backdate for me!
Also, don't forget that it is not hard to modify html of websites Screenshots are useless. Clearly I have you all beaten, even Amex's founder, in terms of backdating .

LOL! I've had an Amex since before credit cards even existed!

speedster, may I ask have you changed the due date of your new account? And what date is your statement closing date?
Anyone notice the difference? Hint: look under "payment history"
That still doesn't prove the validity. My payment history wants to say hello
