Be sure to let us know what happens!

What I wouldn't give to have my very own 1989 account pop up on my reports! Smiley Very Happy

Re: Amex Blue Card

I will let everyone know what happens. I was excited when I read on here that amex backdates. And they are my largest credit limit 3000. I know thats probably not huge for alot of people but its good for me.

Re: Amex Blue Card

I've had the Blue Card and another personal Amex trade line for 9 years. Over that time, I received one automatic CLI -- last September/October -- when I was spending some serious money every month for my wedding, honeymoon and some other stuff.

I don't know about new accounts, but you can request a CLI every 6 months (I setup a calendar notification to tell me the next eligible date) -- the 6 month rule applies to all trade lines.

Also, I requested and received a CLI in June and there was no hard inquiry -- only soft. YMMV.
