Thanks for everyones help. I think what I'm going to try to do is wait to see if I can get an approval since mine is now currently pending, and if it gets declined again I'll call the exectutive offices and try and recon through them.
Man, I didn't realize how exclusive amex is with there lending. I knew they were stingy but I was real suprised.
I hope they look at my credit and see all my paydowns and good hist with cc's, it sucks that one stupid student loan delinq back in 2010 is probably the cause for me getting declined.
