Amex Blue Cash Everyday

So I'm wanting to join the Amex family and would prefer to have a revolver since they discontinued Zync.

What I want to know is what have some of your credit scores been for approval?

I kinda have heavy inquiries from buying a car earlier this year but util is under 10% across the board.

How hard is approval from charge vs BCE? What charge would you recommend if not a revolver.

Re: Amex Blue Cash Everyday

You can apply Delta Gold and if approved PC into BCE. I did this with Hilton AMEX instead.

The Delta Gold usually easier to get than BCE?

No PC from charge to revolver. It is either charge to charge or revolver to revolver.

Re: Amex Blue Cash Everyday

When did they discontinue zync?
Current Debt Management:
$15k Trinity Financial Management (scheduled pay off late 2021)
$10k NFCU
$350/mth Bridgecrest Auto Loan
Goals: Pay off credit card debt & buy a new home before end of 2020

Long Term Debt:
Fed Loans - $150k
Navient - $100k

Taking a "if God don't do it, it won't get done..." approach to paying these off.

Re: Amex Blue Cash Everyday

With a 680 I would first try for a charge card. Maybe the green or PRG they have no AF for the first year. If you are approved you can try for a credit card with them. I would not go right for a Amex credit card with a 680.

Re: Amex Blue Cash Everyday

I was approved with a Fico of 687 on Experian. But, I had 2 years of positive/high spend history with Amex.
