Amex Blue Sky statement credit question

When you redeem a $100 statement credit for 7500 points, can you only apply the credit towards 1 travel expense or any number of travel expenses. Let's say you have a hotel stay for $90 and a car rental for $40 this month. Will you only get $90 back for the hotel or the full $100?

You will only get the $90 because you have to select the travel purchase you want to apply the credit towards.
