Unexpected bonus, the letter they sent showed my EX score as 720. First time it's been at 720 since I tanked my score. It's funny that that they won't CLI my SPG with 720, but gave me PRG with a 703.
Negative Reasons:
Not payng as agreed on accounts (?)
Loan balances to loan amounts is too high - just refinanced my car a few months ago, and consolidated student loans so I can see why this would come up.
Too many inquiries
Revolving balances too high - got my utilizatoin down to 5%, not sure what's up with this one.
Still I'm thrilled to be back to 720 and will keep working, from the Garden.
Sorry for the denial but BRAVO on the score.....yes yes yes

Sorry about the denial. Since the PRG is a charge they can be more flexible with credit /approval. The not paying as agreed on accounts is kind of concerning. I'd double check your CR's
1x 30 day late from 3/2011 (Cap One Best Buy)
1x 30 day late from 4/2012 (DSNB Macy's)
2x Paid Collections 5/2011 ( Dept. of Veterans Affairs)
I sent GW letters on them and got nowhere. I thought the not paying as agreed could also be in reference to carrying high balances, which i had done on two cards (including SPG) for a while, but paid off this past summer. So is that comment baddies or balances?

Baddies. That comment refers to the late payments. Balances would affect your utilization, and impact your score / be noted in the denial reasons a different way.
That's what I was afraid of. First round of GW letters failed totally. So it seems like there's really not much to do besides wait until 2018.
When I was denied by Amex for the CLI, not only did I receive a letter, just a link to the message, but I did not receive a score.

I didn't get any score either when was declined just email and letter in mail
Both times I've gotten denied for a CLI, they sent a score. It's not highlighted at all, just a random sentence in a paragraph near the bottom of the page. You could easily miss it as form-letter filler.
