Amex CLI Denial,,Soft or Hard Pull

I've been researching the boards and thought I would try the Amex 3x CLI increase but got the 7-10 day message unfortunately.Please tell me that this wasnt a hard inquiry

Have you read the 3x CLI Guide?  There's a paragraph on the matter of pulls plus much more information.

Also, don't conflate X days and a denial.   Outcome depends on whatever the result is of the manual intervention indicated by the X days message.

Further, an HP is a generally small factor though it can have more impact for those with thin and/or poor credit profiles.  If 1 HP makes or breaks your credit then you have much bigger issues to address than the HP.
