Are they based on the report they have on file (they SP me every month) or do they do a SP when you ask for the CLI?
My understanding is that when a card holder applies for a new card, they will use the last soft to decide whether you're worthy of a new card, and if you are they will pull hard, so I'm wondering if they do the same when requesting a CLI (minus the hard pull of course).
Yes from experience I can tell you that Amex can and will use a previous soft to decision your CLI, dont assume they will pull a fresh report when you apply.
