Amex CLI

I was approved on 10/18 for a Delta Shymiles an already received it with a $1100 CL.  I applied for a Visa card on 10/19 and another Amex on 10/19 but was declined.

You think I have good chance of getting an increase on 11/19.

Maybe I should have went to the Sleigh center aftering the first approval :smileyindifferent:

Re: Amex CLI

I'd hate to see your inqs, they probably look like mine!

Don't apply for anymore credit.  It will look like a CBO (Credit Bust Out).  I think you're safe with the credit you've got.  A good practice is to wait at least six months before attempting to bump up limits or add on lines.  It definitely worked for me.

Re: Amex CLI

Hi Cyn,

I actually only have 3 inq's.  I won't apply for anymore cards.  But I would like to get a CLI so I can at least buy a reasonable plane ticket and keep the utilization low.

Re: Amex CLI

I'm jealous.  I think some of my inqs doubled up. It looks like I have a lot more than what I should.
