Amex Denied!

So l decided to pull the trigger and apply for zync on 6/27 and got a big fat no. Received my score from them today EX 683. Oh well.

I keep reading around here that Amex is not BK friendly, regardless of age?

5/2012: 560 credit scores across the board
12/2014: 750+
3/2017: 780+
11/2019: 833
2/2023: Experian via Chase United Explorer CC pull - 891

I'm sure BK was the reason, I was approved for Amex Zinc last month with a 631 fico score, I have high utilization and short length of history but no BK.

I have a BK and was approved for Zync a few weeks ago..Mine is 8 years old and from reading other posts it seems that's the, we'll allow you into the club timeframe..What were some of the other reasons?
