In all seriousness alot of companies still don't have chip.. Although more and more are coming with them now either incour the cost now or later in the year or next year.

Not for the cards it is available with, nor is there any reason you would want to. The magnetic stripe will still work at non-chip enabled merchants, and with the chip card you'll have greater security and worldwide acceptance. So there's literally no disadvantage to having the chip card.
