Got my new Amex Green in today's mail! Very happy to be part of the family this early in the game. And it only took 3 business days to arrive!
Also got my initial denial letter from Chase. Luckily I got approved on recon. Reasons on the denial were short credit history/not enough accounts (as expected).
Didn't get my Discover More in the mail today but I did get a letter saying it would be here soon. It gave my EQ FICO as 770, which is REALLY different from the EQ FICO 739 I had pulled the night before I applied for it. Weird.
But now it's time to activate my Green Hopefully the other 2 cards arrive within the next couple of days.

This sounds exactly like my first app spree 3 months ago. Amex Green (and zync), Chase Freedom, and Discover More. You will enjoy that combination, hopefully.

Yeah, I'm really glad I was able to get some cards that actually fit my spending habits. To be honest, I don't know if I'll keep the Green after the free year is up - I am mainly using it for backdating purposes because the only 2 other cards I'm interested in are the Amex HHonors and BCE, and I know I'll have a better shot at those if Amex sees some history from me.
My goal is to get those in 2013; if I can, Green might end up on the chopping block. If not, I'll fork over the AF and keep it around for another year. My Membership Rewards accruals will mainly be used to transfer to the HHonors program, anyway.

Congrats, and enjoy your new card!
