Re: Amex Hard Inq?

(Usually) soft if rejected, hard if approved.  So any new line does show up with an inq, but, and this is nice, rejections don't show up to other creditors...

Re: Amex Hard Inq?

I've read many posts on this forum when I was contemplating an app for a BCE (currently have a Platniunm).

If you are a current member a lot of people say it is a SP if denied and a HP if approved.

See:

(and many many more)

My recent application went pending confirmation of address and tax. When I pulled my CR waiting to hear from amex it was already listed as a HP on ex.

So possiblly I was already approved but they still wanted the confirmation or maybe I didn't get a SP because they want tax and address verification..

Just my recent experince.
