Well after mulling it over I decided to app for the Citi Hilton Reserve card tonight , annnd (drum roll please) APPROVED!!! 5K limit, I had to call and verify my phone number and the nice lady came back on the phone and congratulations. Figued I would go for the SPG, then I'll have cards for the hotel brands where I stay the most, I already have 3 Amex's, it'll be nice to add a Visa to the group. Thanks for suggesting the CIti Hilton card, it will defnitely get usage as soon as it arrives.

Excellent card choice and excellent limit! I think the Reserve is rated as the best Hilton card. I wish I'd applied for the Reserve and not the Surpass. Oh well. I plan on converting the Surpass to the non-AF Amex Hilton card when the AF comes due in January.
