I'm under 21 and I've gotten pre-quals on Amex's own site. Congrats on getting the card with the $250 offer! I'm trying to do the same.

I admit it isn't easy. I'm not even able to replicate my success as of now. Although if you stumble upon the chance, seize it as the restaurant offer doesn't last forever. Just don't expect a high limit lol.
