So, I recieved a pre-selected offer from AMEX for the Gold card a few weeks ago. I KNEW there was no way I could get approved for an AMEX and blew it off.
I couldn't resist the itch so I applied for the Zync tonight and got "We're sorry, we couldn't approve your application in 60 seconds. You'll hear from us via email....etc etc". I figured I was denied. About 15 minutes later, I checked my email and, BAM, two emails from American Express. One of which read "Your Card Application has been Approved!". 
My Experian FAKO is 730 as of about three hours ago.
My oldest account on Experian is 0.8 (yes, that's zero POINT Eight or 8/10) years
My newest account opened in September of 2010
My AAoA on Experian is 0.6 (zero point six or 6/10) years
I had 3 inquiries on Experian at the time of application (two from March 2010 one from August 2010)
I have 3 revolving accounts showing on Experian.
I know they pulled Experian, I don't know yet if they pulled any others.
Just waiting for one account that I PIF'd to update on EQ and TU then I'll be going for Barclay (probably the Priceline Visa) and maybe a couple of others.
