Does the NPSL history and limit carryover to a new charge card? In other words, if one cancels an existing charge card to apply for a new one, does the NPSL charging limits and history carryover?

You can always do the "Check Your Spending Ability" link on the website? I believe it changes periodically based on spending habits.
No but to be honest we don't really know since our basis is on the assumption that the NPSL is built directly on history with the card only.

Yeah, my impression was that it's based more on the particular card. I think overall cards and limits play a role, but the NPSL is predicated primarily on the history of the charge card in question.
