Amex PC

Hi guys,

Recently I got the Delta Gold from Amex, and I really want to convert it to BCE but is this possible? I've read some posts on this forum, but some say they can while others say they cannot. Has anyone here succeeded in PC-ing from Delta Gold to BCE lately?

Not sure but if i recall doesnt the card need to be a 1yr old? Also i think and i could be mistaken but i think i read on here that AMEX wasnt taking PC for the BCE? You could always call AMEX and find out too. They would know for sure Smiley Tongue

the 1 year thing won't come into pay, since both cards have 0 AF, not sure about PC from a co-branded card to a non-co-branded.

Re: Amex PC

I asked them about that before and you can only PC to other Delta cards and some Amex reps have even told me that I could convert to the no annual HHonors Card if I wanted to after a certain period of time. Maybe one day I'll contact the EO or something. That's what I'm doing with my Chase SW card to see if there's anything they can do to PC it to a Freedom so I don't have to take a HP.

Re: Amex PC

So it sounds like you would have to app for the BCE from a reps point of view.

Re: Amex PC

The good thing is if you apply and get denied it's only a SP. If approved it's a HP so if that's the only thing you're looking forward to credit wise, it doesn't hurt to give it a go. Down the line you should be able to transfer your CL over and close your Delta card.

Re: Amex PC

The card needs to be 13 months old. and I don't think you can pc charge cards to revolvers and vice versa
