LilMirth, I always pay before the statement closes, never have had a balance show on the statement. From the "Summary of Accounts" page (the default page when you log on), there is a link titled "Pay Bill" (directly under "Payment Due"); which is next to "Outstanding Balance".
When I click on "Pay Bill", I am presented with an option to "Pay Current Balance" or Statement Balance (which is zero). I've never (since first statement), needed to push a payment.
My account is a signature card so your options may vary if you are using a charge card such as Blue Cash, etc.
