Amex Platinum Retention Offer

Congrats to Brad. I'm so jealous. I have never been offered retention anything. I feel like they wouldn't even care if I left. Have had platinum for 10 years at this point and gold 10 years before that, since high school. any tips? I feel like I'm still on a first date with them every day. Spend over 100k, many years I spent twice that. They don't care. And it is real transactions, not like any weird points thing. I used my points for a plane ticket 2 times, that's it.

You keep saying that they haven't offered you any retention offers and several people have told you that they aren't going to just offer you anything and that you have to ask.  Have you?

I also put EVERYTHING I possibly can on my platinum... Mortgage, car payment, everything. I could probably get more rewards using another card but using the platinum "keeps me honest" as it must be paid in full each month
