Amex Pre-selected

How accurate are the mailings saying I have been preselected to apply for an Amex? I also checked the website and it also shows you have been preselected? Is this usually a pretty good indicator of being approved if I app? Don't want to waste an inq if its not worth it.

Depending on the baddie falling off next month and the expiration date of the offer..........

I would wait on baddie to fall off

Make sure CR's have updated and then apply IMHO

Also note that if offer expires another one will come...so you do have time and your chances of approval would be even better
