Amex Recon

Hey guys, so I faxed in a copy of my credit report on Friday for reconsideration on my blue cash preferred application. The rep told me to call back on Tuesday to check that the Media team received it. Is 48 hours the norm for how long it takes them to get to the faxed documents ???

Re: Amex Recon

Yes it takes time for some reason....Strange but hey it's the Amex way

You are aware that they will most likely do another HP?

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Re: Amex Recon

Yeah, I'm aware lol. Hopefully it works out. They denied me off their last soft pull around the end of last month and my ex fico was I believe 659 due to a bunch of high balances reporting. I've since paid everything off and my ex fico currently sits at 690.

I hate that its 2014 and big companies still use fax machines.

Re: Amex Recon

Haha agreed.  To follow up, I called today.  The rep put me hold roughly 10 minutes, then came back and said it took them a bit to find the documents I faxed over.  She said they would get back to me with a decision.  Anyway, I checked the status of the application and it changed to in process.
