I received my new card and it had Member since 2012.
I registered by phone and asked the customer representative if they could change the date to my original Gold card which was 1983.
He said "No problem I will take care of that right away and your new card with the original date will be sent out to you"
Great customer service and now I am back dated to 1983 which will really help since I started rebuilding my credit
just 9 months ago. 01/12
Amex Zync pulled from Experian and it said my Fico score was 730
Great news. They did the same for me back to 1993. My damn letter had my TU score But it said my TU was 702 which is 22 points higher than here!
When I purchased my Fico score this week from Experian it reported 775
Amex said when they pulled my score this week it reported 730
That is a 45 point difference.
I wonder if that differential is about average for most people.
The 775 is a FAKO and not accurate.
My 680 is from MyFICO and 702 is lender pull from AMEX so both are accurate (one probably uses different version than the other).
So what you are stating is when you purchase scores directly from Experian or TU or EQ it is not accurate at all
and only the scores supplied by the credit card companies are accurate.
FICO Scores from here are accurate and lender pulls are accurate. Also, the TU Score from Walmart is accurate but an older version of TU that some lenders still use. You can get EQ from DCU and EX from Penn State Credit Union. Search this site for FICO vs FAKO and there are numerous threads on the subject.
So the scores provided by this site are inaccurate and only the scores provided by the credit card companies
are accurate.
No. The scores from this site are accurate as this site is run by FICO. Lenders are accurate and some other services from banks are accurate. Monitoring services such as Credit Karma, Credit Sesame, USAA, Experian, Equifax, Quizzle and others are not accurate.
Thanks for the help.
It is very confusing.
Where would I find the most comprehensive explanation of this subject.
