You should go speak to a relationship banker at a branch and see if you have any pre-approvals. That's how I found out I was pre-approved for a CSP.

Optimum backdating. Your new card will an open date of 01/2012 (or whatever yor Member since date is).

So, if I were to get a new card now, my open date would be 01/2008 not 01/2013.

It doesn't pull from the same source as the banker's tool does. The best way to find out is to go see them.

I have a chase branch right across from my job so I'll ask today. Regardless, I'ma wait another week to apply because my freedom reports on the 24th and I want it to show a zero balance.

I spoke with someone at a branch and was told I had no preapproval offers. Doesn't concern me tho, as I wasn't preapproved for either my freedom or zync. Something interesting I heard from the guy at chase was him stating he has recently seen sapphire preferred cards with credit lines under 5k. Anyone else aware of this ???
