I spoke with someone at a branch and was told I had no preapproval offers. Doesn't concern me tho, as I wasn't preapproved for either my freedom or zync. Something interesting I heard from the guy at chase was him stating he has recently seen sapphire preferred cards with credit lines under 5k. Anyone else aware of this ???

We've had people report being approved for CSP's with limits nowhere close to 5K; on the other hand we've also had reports of people being denied for "not having sufficient limits" as well.

It's very much YMMV.

Re: Amex Zync, now BCE ???

Well it's my understanding if amex denies u it's a soft pull, so you don't have to get hit with an inquiry and apply again later on.

Re: Amex Zync, now BCE ???

Hi don't know if helps you or not, but I applied for amex bcp today and got iinstantly approved and then immediately applied for csp and got instantly approved. TU sits at 733 and EQ at 744. i also only make 36000 a year and I've had the chase freedom for 11 months with a 3000 cl pif every month ( which was my highest cl until today) and then I  even asked for cli on my bofa cash rewards and got it! Is been a good day

i think amex is in a giving mood and chase sapphire I feel like really depends on your previous history with them on another card/ checking acct. but that's just what I feel personally, I have no hard evidence Smiley Happy

I'm sure you will do fine, good luck!

I'm feeling good about myself, so yes lol. Even if I get denied its a soft, so I got nothing to lose. The sapphire preferred is the one I really wanted right now so I couldn't be happier.
