Re: Amex Zync, now BCE ???

Guys I never came back to tell you but I did get denied 4 the bce.  Wondering how long I should wait before trying again.  Also I'm hopeful just having the zync and using it will help, since some people say amex puts more weight into your payment history with them than your fico score.  Thoughts ???

In my wallet: Amex Platinum NPSL, Amex Everyday Preferred $15,000, Amex Starwood $10,000, Chase Freedom Visa Signature $10,000, Chase Sapphire Preferred Visa Signature $15,000, Chase Ink Plus Visa Signature $5000 Barclaycard Arrival Plus MasterCard World Elite $10,000, Cap One Quicksilver MasterCard $6000, Citi Prestige World Elite MasterCard $10,000, Citi Forward Visa $6900, Citi Premier World Elite MasterCard $5,800, Discover IT $8500

what are the reasons for denial though? i had a score of 721 supposedly and was denied. (have zync) and then like a week later their cs product had me at 728(from 718). so im not sure if that was the score they gave me but i assumed the letter score was an eq fico.

Re: Amex Zync, now BCE ???

Low ex FICO(645), length of history with amex not long enough(owned zync since August 2012)...I think debt 2 credit ratio they claimed was high, which is not true, I usually float around 10%...I appealed n faxed a letter but we'll see how that goes

not too worry you but this migt result in a hard pull.

i was

time as amex customer not long enough (aug30th 2012)

installment debt to loan amount too high (ok) (car loan i took out in august, obviously)

number of inquries in the past 12 months. agree 8 7 6 on reports  8 on the eq they softed

and one other thing that i cant remember

this was on the 1st of the year

and its possible it could be an old soft pul i was denied because score seemed high since i had 20% util compared too the 7% or less i usually have

Re: Amex Zync, now BCE ???

Yeah I remember the letter saying the ex report they soft pulled was from December...my eq FICO is much higher than my ex or tu because 2 negative accounts still report on my ex/tu reports...all the cards I've been approved 4 in the last yr I've succeeded in them pulling my equifax
