Amex and Discover New Account Reporting.... When?

I received new Amex and Discover cards just over a month ago and neither have reported to any of the CBs yet..

When would they normally report a newly opened account?

Re: Amex and Discover New Account Reporting.... When?

AMEX could take up to 2 statement not sure about discover

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

BofA tends to report immediately, while the waiting time for Chase and Citi varies between 3 days and 3 weeks Robot tongue

Re: Amex and Discover New Account Reporting.... When?

It took two months (or basically 2 statements) for my Discover to report.  It seems like they are even slower for monthly reporting Smiley Frustrated.

Discover is known to report mid-cycle sometimes, so be careful about that! Smiley Wink
