But how high a limit do you really need (with Amex and the other banks).   Here, people seem to want big CLs for the sake of having them, rather than any specific need.

I dont think the CLI request ever went through. Nothing came in the mail or happened. Will likely try for the 100k again in a couple months, if not approved will get a new card and combine eventually...

For some reason I was thinking $50k was the highest revolving limit counted on scoring but maybe I just think I heard that and didn't or they have changed!
