Amex backdating

I applied for both Delta Skymiles and Starwood AMEX and was approved for both last month. I was very surprised that Amex backdated both cards to 1994. Boy I really needed that. I want to pull my FIFO scores again but don't want to do it too early. My equifax fake score is already showing one of them! What do you think should I pull myfico scores now.

Re: Amex backdating

Wait. Unless you want to but another score. Love to play a game here. What was your aaoa before and what will it be after both cards show up? Are they now your oldest trade line? Any other changes since you got scores showing?

Re: Amex backdating

Sorry, my aaoa? Yes this will be my longest credit history which I've beefing getting hit by equifax as not long enough credit history. No other changes except paying off/down a few cc. FYI my credit card debt ratio is on 17%.

Re: Amex backdating

Aaoa=average age of accounts. Take all accounts on credit report and when they show opened and divide by number of accounts. Give you aaoa in years, months. Also, how old was your oldest credit card account (open or closed). I want to see if I can guess your eq fico score. Also any inquiries in last 6 months aside from Amex?

Re: Amex backdating

It takes a while for Amex to report new cards. Mine reported when the first statement cut, but others have said that it didn't report until 2nd stmt. If you have a CMS (USAA offers a daily 3-in-1 pull w/daily monitoring of all 3 for $12.25 a month), then you can find out when the new accts report. Also, instead of buying a FICO, you might be better off getting the Score Watch (either from here or from EQ), since it's less than buying a single score.
