Re: Amex dream come true!

Congratulation! May i ask you some questions?
How many cards do you have before applying for amex blue cash? What is your average age of accounts?
How many INQS on your Experian report before you applied for second time?
How long after your first attempt on amex? Do they pull your EX or EQ?

Sorry for asking so many questions. I just got declined for amex blue cash everyday even after reconsideration due to too low EX score and too short of credit history.
My ex score should be around 690 to 705 when I applied and 9 months credit history, 7 months AaoA.

Re: Amex dream come true!

Thanks for the congratulations! I have 2 previous cards: a discover more which was the first I've ever gotten, and a chase +1 card. The average age of my accounts is 10 months, with my discover being my oldest at over a year old. At the time of my second application, I had 2 inquiries: one from amex from the first application, and one from chase as my account isn't over a year old. I originally applied in September of last year, and applied again earlier this month. So well over 7 months between applications.

At the time of my second application, I had a score just like yours, 695+. After getting approved my score dipped down to 679. A bit of a drop but totally worth it. I love the card!
