Please share what happened. I just got mine recently and would like to know what to watch out for. I also got new cards since then...is it possible to get suspended for getting new cards elsewhere?
Let me call OP, I think he's my one of my buddy from college....brb w/ updates
I had the same thing happen on both my Zync and my BCP. Both were resolved with a 5 minute phone call, a little irritating but to be completely fair, I'm always in favor for tight anti-fraud.
Certainly easy for someone to snatch a mailed credit card in some circumstances, and it's rare that I get asked for an ID when making purchases: in theory in an identity theft situation the information required to activate the card could well be known.
It might be a FR or a Bank Verification. I've gone through a BV where I had to fax in 3 mo of bank statements and the lady said worse case scenario was that my credit limit would be 'adjusted'. Luckily I got a call two days later and no changes were made. I think it might of helped me that I sent in a screen shot of my bank balances for giggles that were surpassed my combined CLs for AMEX along with the statements.
Keep us posted!
Please keep is informs. Thanks and good luck
I hate drive-by posting
Seriously, what was the outcome of this ?
Humm, still no update???? Definitely a drive by post
Not the OP but I just had the same sort of thing happen with my BCE. Went to use it today and was declined.. basically I was told I had to reactivate the card as the online process I did did not go through properly.. Quick phone call and 20 questions later I am back
Well, i thought OP was one of my buddy from college but i guess not lol I sent a fb msg to my buddy and he was like what the heck are you talking about....
