Amex first payment date from activation

Hi Guys,

New to the board - as in posting - but have read tons of stuff here all very helpful.

When you AMEX charge card owners activate your cards --- from that date to "what" ----is your first payment due. Presuming you started to use it the next day etc.

I recently got back into the Amex club with the zync had a blue back in 05. I did setup auto pay but I want to be sure when my first bill is due to pay after usage.

Thanks chaps

I don't think activation of the card has anything to do with it.   Typically the due date and closing dates are set when the account is opened.  I think you need to call to find out.

Yes, the clock starts ticking from the date you were approved, I noticed this after it appeard to me that my first statement was really fast from the time I activated it (like 3 weeks), but after checking my CR, realized that they started the clock from the "Approval" date.
